i'm not back, just checking in when i can.

time to say goodbye.  i'll be on active duty with the US Army starting tomorrow, so i'm leaving deviantART - at least for awhile. it's been fun, i've learned a lot and gotten a lot back from the people i've met on DA.  hopefully my comments have been helpful to some people too. to everyone who's watched me and commented on my work, or just stopped by to say hi from time to time, thanks. :) i cleaned up my gallery a little, but didn't delete everything.  my stock account, 006 (https://www.deviantart.com/006), is still up as well.   i may be back one of these days. in the words of Big Chris, "It's been emotional." :bye:

personally, i never got into painting.  too messy.  but i love what some people are able to do with it.  lately i seem to be looking at a lot of paintings here on DA, so here are a few painters (traditional and digital)  that i'd like to feature.  definitley worth a look. ~kid-a (https://www.deviantart.com/kid-a) will be studied in art history classes mostly traditional media, dark, and very kickass. :iconjonobono: the artist formerly known as ratboy (https://www.deviantart.com/ratboy) definitely check out his series of rockstar oil paintings. :iconnurse-stimpy: you gotta see for yourself. traditional-media paintings with an 80's or 50's style influence.  some great photos too. :iconadonihs: dig
